How to delete your Intriq account and the data in it, either from inside the app or by asking us, and what is removed when you do.
Which app this covers
This page covers Intriq, published on Google Play as "Intriq: Relationship Memory" and on the App Store as "Intriq: Personal CRM & Memory", by Fang Ventures Private Limited.
You can delete your account from inside the app, or ask us to delete it for you. Both routes remove the same data.
Delete your account from the app
This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately.
- Open Intriq and go to Settings.
- Tap Data controls.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when asked. You may be asked to sign in again first, because deletion is permanent.
Once the confirmation succeeds, your account and the data listed below are gone and cannot be restored.
Ask us to delete it for you
If you cannot reach the app, email us from the address on your Intriq account and ask us to delete it:
Email: support@intriq.app
Send the request from the email address you signed up with, so that we can confirm the account is yours. We will confirm once the deletion is done, and in any case within 30 days of the request.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes everything you have stored in Intriq, including:
- the people in your workspace, and the facts, relationships and family links attached to them
- your notes, timeline entries, interactions and shared events
- reminders and follow-ups
- chat threads with the assistant, and any pending memory proposals
- voice note recordings and their transcripts
- photos you attached to people
- search and memory indexes built from the above
- your workspace backups held for sync between your devices
- posts, comments and votes you left in the in-app feedback board
- your account record, profile details and sign-in identity
What is kept, and for how long
A small amount of information outlives the account, because we are required to keep it or because it was never ours to delete:
- Purchase and subscription records held by Apple, Google or our payment processor. These are governed by their own policies, and Intriq cannot delete them on your behalf.
- Records we are required to keep for tax, accounting or legal purposes, kept only for as long as the relevant law requires.
- Encrypted server backups, which are overwritten on their normal rotation within 30 days of deletion and are not used to restore a deleted account.
Anything you exported or shared yourself before deleting stays where you put it.
Delete some data without closing your account
If you only want to clear part of your workspace, Settings then Data controls also lets you delete all chats, or delete all people, while keeping your account open.
